At the age of 25

I know my journey begins now

The present has kissed the past goodbye and

the future is reaching out to embrace me in it's challenging arms

At the age of  25

I'm loved in many ways

Some love me for themselves

Some love me for me

Some love me to complete and become

a piece of the puzzle of universal love

Pure hearts taught me truths that I

can barely understand but I feel fortunate

to hear the things I hear

at the age of 25

My soul travels in advance of my heart

to make sure it will not get robbed by time stealing sidetracks

at the age of 25

I have been flying like a bird

I have been swimming like a fish

I have been running like a deer…

And I have been still…

Amazed by the sight of a lake…

The Tennessee hills…

The rhythm of thunder that never betrays lightening

I dream things that can't stand human reality

Dreams that could never wake up

At the age of 25
